Welcome!

Hello and welcome! This site was created in 2019, with the purpose of building a easy to access resource for moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, care providers and anyone else involved with babies, children, teens, and onward.

As a new parent, I had plenty of friends and family to support me. Yet, even with my village, I STILL felt like I was wandering around blind-folded in a field. I spent hours with my smartphone in my hand while nursing my child researching and reading, trying to understand what I was doing and how I was supposed to do it.

Nothing came easily to me, like it seemed to come for others moms. Breastfeeding was hard. There was colic, sleep regressions, illnesses, fevers, jaundice…..all the things. And I didn’t know how to handle any of it. I pretty much had my doctor’s office nurse advice line on speed dial.

Children don’t come with manuals. I sure with they did though. With this site, my goal is to try and put out as much content possible about parenting, written by parents (or childcare providers) for parents. No one should be lost and in the dark about how to take care of their child. And not just articles about specific issues, but also blogs written by parents who share their day-to-day experiences of having kids, and how hard it can be.

Do me a favor. Please stop looking at Facebook and Instagram. These are lovely services but they can create a really false sense of what a family or a parent should look like. Most of those snaps are a moment in time captured in a split second when everything was hunky dory. You’ll never see the 100 shots that were taken and discarded to achieve that IG worthy moment.

You are on your own journey. You don’t have to compare yourself to anyone.

We look forward to serving you in the years to come.
